In addition to providing handy travel tips, tricks and resources, Judy Wolf will help you identify the obstacles that keep you from living your travel dream and discover creative & practical ways to break free. In this hands-on, interactive workshop, she will outline the key skills needed for successful travel and show you how to achieve your dream by designing a step-by-step skill-building program based on realistic travel goals.
As a friendly and accessible resource, Judy Wolf will answer your questions about how she did it (and how you can do it too!), what it was like (ever wonder what other Americans do in that squat toilet with no paper and a bucket of water?), and how to stay healthy while still having an adventure. The Get Going! philosophy is "If I can do it, you can do it -- let's work together to figure out how!" This workshop is the next step toward making your travel dreams come true.
Judy Wolf is a world traveler, freelance writer, speaker, and whitewater kayak instructor. Since studying and traveling abroad through college, she's taken numerous, extended breaks from the "real world" to venture solo around the world, traveling by foot, bus, jeep, camel, truck, boat, train, plane, and bicycle to destinations including Central America, Europe, Russia, South America, Southeast Asia (including India and Nepal), and 38 states here in the USA.
Any additional materials fees (depending on venue) are for a 70-page resource manual with in-depth information covering everything from where to start planning your next trip and what to bring (or not bring!) to collected tips from travelers and essays on solo travel, the impact of tourism, and what to do in an Asian-style toilet.
